This chapter has five goals: understand the natural history, diagnosis, and treatment of solid tumors involving the breast, cervix, colon, lung, ovary, prostate, and testicle; understand the diagnosis and treatment of malignancies of unknown primary origin; recognize the paraneoplastic syndromes; identify oncologic complications and emergencies; and review the risks, treatment options, and follow up for the most common head and neck cancers.
