Axial fat-suppressed FSE T2-weighted (Figure 2.30.1) and axial IP and OP T1-weighted 2D SPGR (Figure 2.30.2) images demonstrate a cirrhotic configuration of the liver with enlargement of the left hepatic lobe and the caudate lobe (not entirely included here), as well as diffuse, innumerable small hypointense nodules that do not demonstrate appreciable dropout on IP and OP images.
