Case 22 introduces a 28-year-old construction worker with complaints of headache, nosebleed, occasional dizziness, and palpitations. He reports that for the past 5 months he has had increasing shortness of breath on exertion that, to a certain extent, has interfered with his working capacity. He reports a 2-year history of high blood pressure that is poorly controlled despite three different medications.
