In this chapter, the practical implications of employing TCM and acupuncture in the setting of men’s health are explored as a viable integrative modality. Acupuncture for chronic symptoms and disease such as low back pain, depression, insomnia and male sexual health is effective. Military applications of acupuncture for Post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD) whether in active engagement in the theater of operations or for veterans in post deployment have become effective tools in an integrative model. Men who travel crossing time zones have responded greatly to this approach. Its role in sports performance, injury management and as a viable option for treating addictions(smoking, alcohol, food and narcotics) have made this treatment approach a powerful modality for men’s health. Simple acupressure points for common maladies are discussed. TCM and acupuncture continue to grow in popularity and appropriate training centers are established nationwide. Research in acupuncture is growing immensely and European and Germany particularly have integrated acupuncture are more than in the United States. Future research will aid in increasing this discipline’s role in conventional health settings.
