This mass is not an aspergilloma, even though aspergilli found on smear and culture

Invasive aspergillosis occurs only in the immunocompromised host

In this case, tissue is infarcted because aspergillosis and mucormycosis invade the vessels

The radiolucency is necrotic infarcted tissue, not an air meniscus...
