This chapter on cerebrovascular disease discusses the evidence-based management of acute stroke, transient ischaemic attacks (TIAs), and secondary stroke prevention (antiplatelet therapy, risk factor modification, atrial fibrillation (AF), carotid and vertebral artery dissection, and symptomatic carotid artery disease).
