The incidence of primary tumours originating from the walls of larger arteries and veins is extremely rare. They often present late, with an associated delay in diagnosis that is frequently made at the time of surgery. Treatment is difficult and the prognosis is often poor. This chapter will address tumours of large- and medium-sized vessels of both the arterial and venous circulation, and will include the management of tumours of renal origin extending into the inferior vena cava.
