There is probably no subject in pediatrics that has received so much attention in the last few years as that of infantile eczema. Both external and internal factors have been studied, and some advances have been made in its treatment. We believe, however, that the effect of diet on these infants, once so stressed, has been largely lost sight of recently. For this reason the following study was made. . . . The 20,061 babies represented in this study represent a five-year period in which each infant was fully followed.
