In this chapter, we address the whole process of modern radiotherapy (RT) from introduction of patient demographic data into a Hospital Information System, through imaging associated with target definition, treatment planning and delivery to end of treatment and eventually follow-up as it works ‘under the bonnet’ in a fully electronic department. It also provides a simple set of references for all information technology (IT) concepts that occur in the book. If we can do this without losing you, then we'll be very happy!...
