The pulmonary veins are enlarged and thickened and the pulmonary capillaries are dilated.

There is interstitial oedema, alveolar haemorrhage, lymphatic vessel, and lymph node enlargement.

There may be medial hypertrophy and intimal fibrosis of the distal PAs....
