This chapter summarizes the current guidelines for antiplatelet drugs in the context of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI); medications at our disposal, and we will attempt to answer these questions using the evidence that is currently available. We highlight some of these issues by discussing our management of a complex clinical case. In addition we will consider to what extent technologies, pharmaceuticals, and management strategies may alter in the near future.
