Chapter 15 discusses how increasing age brings with it particular ear, nose and throat (ENT) morbidities which can lead to marked decrease in quality of life, particularly as many of the special senses are affected. This brief overview aims to highlight some of the commoner ENT problems which will be encountered by those dealing with an elderly population.
