As the aging population of India continues to progress, it will bring about an increase in chronic disease. In addition to the aging of the population, rapid economic growth and urbanization will also contribute to the increase in non-communicable diseases. This chapter explores the practice of yoga as an integrative intervention in healthy aging and age-related disorders across the populations.
