This chapter explores atrial septal defects (ASDs), including ostium secundum ASD, ostium primum ASD, sinus venosus ASD, coronary sinus defect, and patent foramen ovale. Ventricular septal defects (VSDs) are also discussed, including definition and incidence, cardiac associations, presentation, physical signs, investigation, and management.
