This chapter describes the clinical features, differential diagnosis, investigation, and management of vasculitic disorders which affect the skin. Small-vessel cutaneous vasculitis, giant cell arteritis, IgA vasculitis, urticarial vasculitis, cryoglobulinaemic vasculitis, ANCA-associated vasculitis, and thrombo-occlusive vasculopathies are discussed. Topical and systemic treatments are described, with clear guidance for the management of medical emergencies, e.g. giant cell arteritis and acute meningococcaemia.
