Ocular infection requires prompt management and regular review, in light of the fact that severe infection can threaten sight. This chapter discusses the commoner presentations of childhood ocular infection and the most likely causative organisms, and highlights the fact that multidisciplinary involvement is often required, together with appropriate antimicrobial management.
