This chapter gives an overview of iatrogenic problems experienced in neonatal care including problems associated with procedures, treatment, and medication. There are more detailed descriptions (including prevention and management) of the serious or frequently occurring problems of arterial thrombosis, extravasation injuries, infants inadvertently given the incorrect breast milk, and needle-stick injuries.
