Electrodermal hyporeactivity is related to the incidence of suicide and violent attempted suicide in depressed patients. The electrodermal reactivity test is a non-invasive examination of habituation to a standardized tone stimulus. Further testing of electrodermal hyporeactivity in clinical conditions is needed.
