In this chapter we will discuss a number of other conditions that may produce parkinsonism. Most are associated with mental change, especially dementia. They include familial cases, as well as the combination of parkinsonism–amyotrophic lateral sclerosis–dementia, diffuse Lewy body disease (LBD), parkinsonism in Pick’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease (AD), and Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease.
