Interventional radiologists are actively engaged in the treatment of several conditions affecting the female pelvis including uterine fibroids, adenomysosis, pelvic congestion syndrome, tubo-ovarian abscess and ovarian cyst. Therefore, it is essential for interventional radiologists to understand both the procedural aspects and clinical management of these entities to ensure the best clinical outcomes. This chapter will review these conditions, including the pathophysiology, the treatment options, the periprocedural management and the results from the available literature.
