There are multiple methods for evaluating patients’ sleep complaints: clinical screening instruments, sleep diaries, polysomnography (PSG) with multiple sleep latency test (MSLT) and maintenance of wakefulness test (MWT), and actigraphy. This chapter reviews tools used to assess patients with sleep complaints.
