Family meeting are a cornerstone of palliative care. Palliative care team members without specific counseling backgrounds, such as nurses and physicians, may lack training on how to facilitate meetings or resolve conflicts.. This chapter offers a guideline to facilitating effective family meetings. A stepwise approach promotes quality family meetings.
