No single approach is suitable for all. A range of effective approaches is available which can be tailored to specific situations or individuals. While it is unrealistic to state that all suicides can be prevented, there is reason to be optimistic that by addressing the approaches outlined in this book, rates of suicide worldwide can be reduced.
