8-year-old boy with developmental delay.

Axial CT image shows an abnormally straight orientation of the lateral ventricles resembling racing car tires (arrows). No white matter is seen crossing the midline.

Coronal T2-weighted MR image reveals a high-riding third ventricle (arrow) and lack of white matter tracks crossing the midline (curved arrow). The sagittally oriented tracks (Probst bundles) cause lateral deviation of the frontal horns (arrowheads) so that they resemble steer horns....
