This chapter begins with a study of two clinical case studies which highlight the difference between curing and healing, concluding that healing refers to the personal experience of the disease, unlike cure which refers to its objective physical manifestations. The chapter then outlines some common trends in the way to healing, including resolving emotional conflict, and the role of the health care practitioner in this.
